March is warm, dry and the busiest spring month, with afternoons around 21 °C, March Madness filling sportsbooks for three weeks from mid-month, spring breakers at the pools from the second week and NASCAR at the Speedway early in the month. Rates rise accordingly. The first pool parties open, though nights are still cool, around 9 °C.
