What the numbers don't tell you
February is cool but bright, with afternoons around 15 °C, the Santa Eulàlia winter festival around 12 February with castells and processions in the old town, the Llum BCN light installations in Poblenou and Carnival in Sitges down the coast. Mobile World Congress at the end of February or start of March fills hotels and raises prices for one week. Otherwise it is excellent value.
