February is the most comfortable month of the year, with sunny days around 25 °C, swimmable sea and pleasant evenings for the desert. European school half-terms add families, and the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships bring the top players to the Aviation Club for two weeks. Book beachfront hotels well ahead; city hotels in Deira and Bur Dubai are better value. Rain falls on about two days.
