TN Cities is a reference site about the world’s most visited cities. We publish in-depth city guides, weekly local news and event digests, and city tourism data — with the goal of being a source you (and the AI assistants many readers use) can check and cite.
Who is behind TN Cities
TN Cities is produced by a small independent editorial operation, published as TN Cities Editorial. We do not use invented author personas; earlier pages that carried a personal byline have been consolidated under this editorial imprint. Legal and contact details are on the imprint page.
Sources & methodology
- City news: summarized weekly from established local and national news outlets. Every news row links to its original source article, and each digest carries the publication dates of the underlying items.
- Events: compiled from official venue, organizer and city tourism calendars; each event links to the official homepage of its venue or organizer. We list real, recurring events with their known annual windows and mark prices as stated by the organizer (“free”, “varies”, or a concrete figure).
- Weather: 14-day forecasts from the Open-Meteo API, refreshed with each weekly edition.
- Tourism statistics: we are building a city-level statistics layer based on official municipal and national tourism statistics and UN Tourism country data. Every published figure carries its source and reference year; where no reliable source exists, we leave the field empty rather than estimate.
Update cycle
- News, events and weather: refreshed weekly on every city page (each page shows its last update).
- City guides: revised periodically as facts change.
- Statistics: verified against their sources at least once per year; each data module shows its “last verified” date.
Corrections
If you find an error — a wrong figure, an outdated event, a mislabeled source — please tell us via the contact details on the imprint page. Corrections are applied directly to the affected page.
